October Introduction

Obviously, we are having some problems throughout the country in the financial sector. The first article gives some tips on how we can each be a little more frugal during this period of uncertainty. Being good stewards of our resources will help assure that we make it through our current economic stress. A little of this situation is evident in the housing market here in Tarrant County because the mortgage lenders are required to follow nationwide guidelines. While the job market is still good, see the second article, the number of home sales continues to drop off.
